Board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kendall Carll is skilled to treat the back injuries of North Texas patients from his Plano and Addison facility locations. As the founder and leading physician of Spine Care of North Texas, Dr. Carll has helped hundreds of patients find relief from chronic back pain. Using his specialized skills, Dr. Carll assesses and diagnoses back conditions before creating a customized treatment plan to help patients achieve relief in a minimally invasive manner as possible. When a condition does warrant surgery, Dr. Carll is extensively skilled in the latest surgical techniques to provide optimal outcomes. Education and Training
After graduating first in his class from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, Dr. Carll enrolled in and obtained his medical degree from The University of Florida, graduating cum laude in 2003. During his medical school career, Dr. Carll was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society. He remained at the University of Florida while completing his internship in general surgery and residency in orthopedic surgery. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Carll relocated to Texas to continue his training with the Dallas Spine Fellowship Program. In order to remain current with advances to his field, Dr. Carll completes numerous hours of continuing education courses every year.

When surgery is required, Dr. Carll is highly trained in the latest techniques in spinal surgery. Dr. Carll is especially skilled in minimally invasive and motion preservation surgery techniques. He is also experienced in the performance of anterior and posterior fusion surgery, artificial disc replacement, and decompression surgeries.

Dr. Carll was honored to have been named on the Super Doctors Texas Rising Star list in 2013. In addition, he has also been named one of D Magazine’s Best Doctors in Dallas and Collin counties. The website “Mpirica” currently lists Dr. Carll as one of 19 top-performing surgeons in the country due to his outstanding surgical outcomes.
